Large Town Garden
Our fourth project for these clients, always sure of what they like yet open to any good design idea. A large town garden but long and narrow, the design needed to incorporate a lot of recreational space, some storage and access to two different levels of the house.
We decided a contemporary yet formal scheme would work best. We achieved the formal design structure by using german limestone.
Another “green” structural layer was introduced by using pleached hornbeam and standard olives alongside yew and box hedging. Finally planting lavender, grasses, agapanthus and hydrangea that give the design a seasonal softness.
